Is Botox right for me?
BOTOX® Cosmetic may be right for you if you’re looking for a slight improvement in your age-related wrinkles. It is an ideal solution for patients looking to erase deep creases and furrows of the face without undergoing more invasive surgical procedures. By relaxing the muscles responsible for wrinkles, a heavy tension look or tired, angry appearance can be removed. Because improvement is subtle, patients often appreciate that their acquaintances don’t realize they’ve undergone treatment. You will appear more relaxed and rested after treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic. Commonly treated areas include the heavy vertical creases between the eyebrows, deep forehead wrinkles, crow’s feet around the eyes. Wrinkles around the mouth and nose and thick muscle bands of the neck are newer areas also being treated with BOTOX® Cosmetic.
When can I see results and how long do they last?
Most patients begin to see results within three to five days after treatment, though it can take up to two weeks for some. The benefits of BOTOX® Cosmetic typically last for three to four months, though some see results for up to six months.
What is the future of Botox?
