Holly says that she had always been self-conscious about a small bump on her nose. She hated putting on her makeup, looking in the mirror, or flipping through Facebook photos because of the bump.
On her first visit, she was a little nervous, but Holly was excited to visit the picturesque Michigan Avenue location in downtown Chicago. She became very impressed and excited by looking at the digital imaging results that Dr. Dayan did in front of her. It helped her visualize the results that rhinoplasty surgery could accomplish with her features. Rhinoplasty was gradually becoming a real possibility.
Holly was surprised by how easy the process of healing was. She experienced no bruising, and she felt well enough to go out a couple of days later (except for the cast on her nose). "When my friends ask me if it was painful, I tell them that getting my wisdom teeth out was 10 times worse than getting a rhinoplasty."
Today, Holly has no problems standing in front of a camera. She exudes confidence and poise.
Meet Lina, a 36-year-old Chicago rhinoplasty patient of Dr. Dayan. Like many of Dr. Dayan's rhinoplasty, Chicago-based patients, Lina found Dr. Dayan on Google. She was interested in rhinoplasty because she was "self-conscious about her nose" she says.
Lina's rhinoplasty took place in September of 2005. Prior to her treatment, Lina says that she was a little nervous about how her result would look. However, Lina started seeing results in two weeks and "loved it." According to Lina, there were no scars left.
"Five stars from beginning to end. Dr. Dayan was very thorough and knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands," says Lina.
Now, at events and special occasions, Lina feels great about the way she looks. Lina was fortunate to have very supportive friends and family. They loved her result… as do we. This is her story.
"Would totally do it again," says Lina. "Ending results… priceless."
Jenni found Dr. Dayan through a unique family connection. Her mother was once a patient of Dr. Eugene Tardy, the man who trained and passed on his practice to Dr. Dayan. Dr. Dayan's recommendation was confirmed when her ENT, Dr. Bussell, recommended him as well. Jenni says that it was Dr. Dayan's personality and his extensive knowledge that made her confident in her decision in choosing him as her surgeon.
"From the minute you meet him, you will love him!" says Jenni.
Jenni's family was very supportive of her as she went through the process. As a mother, though, Jenni's concern was not poor results, for she was more concerned about having to use anesthesia during surgery. However, Jenni knew that Dr. Dayan was very qualified, and he had helped thousands of other patients safely reach their goals. Jenni received a chin implant and rhinoplasty from Dr. Dayan. "It wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be," says Jenni of her rhinoplasty and chin implant procedures.
Everything turned out beautifully. Jenni saw results within 2-4 weeks after her surgery and she was "very happy" about them.
"I love my results!" says Jenni. "I feel more confident and love taking pictures now!"
Type in "Rhinoplasty Chicago" or "Chicago Rhinoplasty" and you'll find Dr. Dayan on the Internet just like 27-year-old, closed rhinoplasy patient Elisavet did. She says that after searching Dr. Dayan's website, she was so impressed by his experience, credentials, and all of the information that it really convinced her to choose him. She particularly enjoyed reviewing all of the before and after photos.
Elisavet's closed rhinoplasty was in December 2010, (only 3 months before we took all of the pictures of her on this website.) Elisavet says that prior to the procedure she didn't like her nose in pictures or in videos. She was too nervous to tell her father, so her sister told him. While at first her family didn't understand, they were happy that she went forward with the procedure after seeing Elisavet's confidence skyrocket.
"I was really nervous the week before my closed rhinoplasty, and I was freaking out the morning of it. I even started crying when they were prepping me for surgery and wanted to run out. Now, I am so glad that I didn't dash out of there. I love my nose!" Elisavet reveals.
Elisavet says that it was a little uncomfortable the first week but there was no pain. And while the initial swelling made her nervous, she began to see results after 2 weeks.
"I feel more beautiful, and I'm not embarrassed when someone takes a profile picture of me," says Elisavet.
"Botox was the best decision I ever made for myself," says Kelly. Kelly sought out a procedure because she wanted to look refreshed and relaxed without looking "done." Kelly learned about Dr. Dayan through a beauty event.
Kelly's friends said that she didn't need anything and that she was "crazy" for getting the procedure done, but that didn't stop this assertive woman from going after what she wanted. Before her treatments, she was a little concerned about bruising, pain, and looking fake.
However, Kelly began to see results of her procedure immediately and loved them. She has received Botox®, filler for her lips, and filler for her nasolabial folds for the past few years. Kelly says she feels like she looks more relaxed, but nobody knows exactly why.
Cynthia originally discovered Dr. Dayan's Chicago cosmetic surgery practice through the spa services offered on site at True Skin Care Center. While Cynthia's self-esteem has always been high, she was interested in refreshing and preserving what she already had. Cynthia originally received Botox® treatments at Dr. Dayan's practice, but when she heard about Dysport®, she was intrigued. She read that Dysport® treatments actually lasted longer,and for her, this has been true. She says the heavy lines are gone.
"I'm very happy," she confirms. According to Cynthia, she experienced no bruising with either Botox® or Dysport®.
Cynthia stresses that not only is it simple to research the details and reviews of these products online, but that she feels comfortable personally asking the staff at Dr. Dayan's office any questions that she may have.

Like many of Dr. Dayan's Chicago blepharoplasty patients Jill heard about Dr. Dayan via referrals from those close to her, and Dr. Dayan came with the "highest recommendation and reputation."
"My eyes were sad, stressed and dull—and that's how I felt when I looked at them," says Jill.
Jill received an upper and lower blepharoplasty from Dr. Dayan. While Jill says that some of her friends and family didn't understand why she was following through with the surgery, she received their total support. She also always felt completely supported by the staff at the office of Steven H. Dayan, MD, FACS.
She was surprised by "the nurturing from the start – they all knew me by name. I was made to feel special always."
Jill started to see results 2 weeks later, and became increasingly thrilled with the outcome as time went on. Moreover, the greatest result may truly be in how Jill feels.

Catherine said that she wasn't happy with her appearance and was losing confidence before coming to Dr. Dayan's office. It was word of mouth that introduced Catherine to the practice. She says when she told her friends and family that she was considering a treatment, they were intrigued. They shared Catherine's curiosity and excitement about seeing the results. After Catherine's treatment, a few people even came to see Dr. Dayan themselves.
However, Catherine was not without concerns. She considered the price, and she did not want the filler to appear like "too much."
She received the Active FX Laser treatment a few years ago and has continued to get filler for a few years. While it took her a few months to see the effects of her laser treatment, her filler treatments were evident immediately. Catherine said that both treatments were very effective.
"I would definitely do it again. I feel better about myself," says Catherine. "I have more confidence."
When Kathy told her friends that she was considering a cosmetic procedure, they were hesitant about it.
"They all said I didn't need it," she tells us. "But when I was healed, they all said, 'Wow… you look 10 years younger.'"

When Nancy felt like her appearance was starting to look aged, she began searching for a board certified facial plastic surgeon in Chicago. A plastic surgeon in southern Illinois, who had previously worked in Chicago, directed Nancy toward Steven H. Dayan, M.D., FACS. Nancy selected Dr. Dayan as her trusted medical provider on his recommendation for her facelift, brow lift, and blepharoplasty procedures.

In 2006, Nancy received her facelift. Her mother had received a facelift at 50, so her family remained very unobtrusive during her process. They were already familiar with the routine.

Carol has trusted Dr. Dayan with her eyes, neck, and chin since 2004. She first learned about Dr. Dayan through a family doctor. However it was Dr. Dayan's compassion and how comfortable she felt with him that made her choose the Chicago facial plastic surgeon. Carol received a facelift, blepharoplasty, and chin implant.
When Carol told her family about her procedure, they were all very excited for her. After receiving her treatment in 2004, Carol started seeing results from her neck lift about 3-4 weeks later. She says the most surpising part of her experience was seeing the before and after pictures. Ironically, Carol's primary concern going into surgery was how the results would turn out, but still today, she loves her appearance. Prior to her procedure, Jill had concerns. She neither wanted to look too "done," nor did she want a nose that showed little improvement at all. In December 2010 (only 3 months before her pictures for this website were taken), Jill arrived at the office in Chicago for her revision rhinoplasty. One week later, her concerns were assuaged. She started seeing the results, and she calls them "amazing."
"Nothing Compared," says Denise who researched online and scheduled consultations with multiple Chicago cosmetic surgeons.
Denise points out that feeling very comfortable at Dr. Dayan's office was an influencing factor for her, "You have to feel like you're with the right doctor. Although every patient has a few concerns about how they will feel after the surgery, the recovery process for Denise went well. There was some bruising, but it went away within 4-5 days. She says that she experienced no pain in the nose, only slight discomfort. Though the otoplasty was a little tender, she says she would do it all over again. She calls it a "really great experience."
Denise was back to work in about 8 days, and no one said anything. People didn't even notice— which is exactly what she wanted. The natural appearance is signature to Dr. Dayan's work. "It's my nose still. It's just— better," Denise says.
Denise loves the way her confidence has boosted since her surgeries, "I want to get dolled up every day now… it's kind of amazing on a daily basis."
Susan was impressed by the environment at Dr. Dayan's office. She notes that the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and caretaking. She was even more impressed by Dr. Dayan himself.
"He's a genuine person, and he has a genuine concern about each of his patients… And really enjoys enabling us to getting back to feeling like we are ourselves."
As an artist herself, she took note of Dr. Dayan's artistic eye. She wanted a doctor who would maintain the integrity of her facial structure. Susan researched Dr. Dayan's affiliations and certifications, discovering that he was a dually board-certified facial plastic surgeon in Chicago. As part of her research, she looked at 3-4 Chicago facelift surgeons. After looking at Dr. Dayan's materials and speaking with people at his events, she left feeling very comfortable moving forward with Dr. Dayan as her facial cosmetic surgeon.
Susan had a positive post-operative experience. She and her friend/ caretaker took advantage of staying at a nearby hotel at which Dr. Dayan's patients receive exclusive rates. Susan says that the pressure made it uncomfortable, but she wouldn't really call it pain.
The results have made it completely worth it to Susan. She notes that she is turning 68 soon and has been "mistaken for 50 a few times." She also notes that she's not as stressed about losing her appearance. "I'm more relaxed about how I look. Before, when I'd go to the gym, I'd put plenty of cream on my neck or when I was really working hard," she jokes about her previous efforts to preserve her youthfulness. And people can see what's inside of me, too."
"I was beginning to feel a lot older than I am chronologically," says Mickie who turned to injectables and non-surgical procedures at Dr. Dayan's office to reverse her signs of aging. Mickie chose Dr. Dayan because of his reputation for being outstanding with injections. Mickie lives in the Northshore community of the Chicago area, and his name was frequently used amongst her peers and colleagues.
"Dr. Dayan is a conservative appearing person, very quiet and confident, and that made me feel confident," says Mickie. "When I spoke with Dr. Dayan, it made me feel as if he knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, which was not a plastic face." Mickie researched for about 3 years before deciding pursue injectables, but new products kept coming out. At first, she says she was concerned about pursuing her beauty treatments. Unfortunately, a good friend of hers had a negative experience with a facility that did not provide appropriate treatment. She says she was a little nervous at first about visiting a cosmetic surgeon. She expected to be fussed over and made to feel unattractive. She was concerned that all of her flaws would be pointed out in order to get her to request more treatments.
"It's nice going here because no one makes you feel that way. If something is too much they'll say, 'You look great. That's too much,'" Wendellyne says.
