Our research division is expanding rapidly. Currently, we are supervising three grants, including the celebrated Phase III it Reloxin project. We are certified in Good Clinical Practices and employ a PhD candidate researcher. In 2006, we are slated to begin work on two additional research projects, and will be hiring a second researcher to manage the additional workload.
Research findings generated within the research division results in multiple articles for publication and presentations every year, averaging between three and five published papers yearly with requests for multiple podium presentations. In the process, we become uniquely educated on the product or device being researched, as do the physician preceptors, the monthly rotating residents and fellows, physician assistants and nurses where I have affiliate arrangements. In addition, Dr. Dayan’s expertise in office-based cosmetic procedures has led to his leadership role in his academic societies, including coordinating multiple symposiums for fellow colleagues and serving as a moderator for national and international symposiums. Residents and Fellows from the University also work in the research department, which makes it one of the most dynamic divisions of the practice.
The core component of the practice is research. We enjoy working with new products and devices, and it is our goal to continually expand the Research Division. To further discuss research opportunities please call 312.335.2070.
