Dr. Dayan believes that pursuing continuing education is fundamental to professional and personal success. This philosophy is demonstrated throughout his practice with multiple educational opportunities for doctors, residents, and patients, as well as students ranging from the high-school level through the post-graduate level.
Dr. Dayan enjoys helping others better understand the art and science behind the latest in cosmetic medicine. As a recognized national educator, Dr. Dayan inspires others through his teaching. This has resulted in a comprehensive network of thousands of physicians and paramedical professionals who rely on Dr. Dayan as a resource for information on new products and techniques. His extensive experience in non-surgical and surgical techniques, as well as his innovative research on cosmetic procedures and products
provides a wealth of information.

Continuing Education for the Professional |
According to ASAPS the growth rate for non-surgical cosmetic procedures has increased 726% since 1997. The largest increase has been seen in patients ranging in ages 35 to 50 years old, an active lifestyle group requiring minimally invasive, quick recovery procedures.
If you are thinking of adding non-surgical procedures to your practice, or if you already use these procedures but want to learn about different techniques, refine your skills, or see new equipment, then join Dr. Dayan during an educational format of your choice. Dr. Dayan frequently lectures nationwide or you may chose to attend a Preceptorship hosted in our state-of-the-art downtown Chicago facility.
Preceptorship
Where do some of the nation's best doctors go to learn about the latest in non-surgical, office based procedures? They attend the monthly Preceptorship taught by Dr. Dayan. Two to four practicing physicians spend the day observing Dr. Dayan as he performs in-office procedures including Botox and Restylane treatments, as well as laser treatments, peels and laser hair removal. Throughout the day you have an opportunity to review what you are learning, ask questions, and discuss the latest research findings directly
with Dr. Dayan, in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Dr. Dayan encourages you to bring your on-staff PA, Medical Assistant, or Esthetician, so they may benefit from the educational day as well.

Lectures
Dr. Dayan lectures across the nation on a variety of topics in the medical cosmetic field. Invited to speak at workshops, symposiums, and conferences attended by his peers, Dr. Dayan is an energetic and insightful speaker. Throughout the year, Dr. Dayan is invited to give lectures to non-medical audiences who are interested in his work and his research findings. Dr. Dayan believes that lectures should inform and entertain the audience with a friendly and approachable style. For non-medical audiences, Dr. Dayan
has a knack for breaking down scientific terminology into an understandable, interesting, and fun form.
Check back for upcoming lectures.
If you are unable to attend a lecture in a city near you, you are invited to explore our Preceptorship opportunities, which allow you to spend a day with Dr. Dayan in his Chicago practice.

Professional Students
Dr. Dayan has developed alliances with some of the best paramedical and esthetic educational institutions in the Chicagoland area. In addition to rotating medical residents from the University of Illinois, intern opportunities are offered to students and graduates within educational institutions we have affiliations with. Working directly with Dr. Dayan and his staff, physician assistants and nurse practitioner students learn medical office management practices, how to operate state-of-the-art lasers, medical
equipment and injectables, plus a variety of non-surgical techniques which prepare them for a career in cosmetic medicine. Esthetic interns learn about facial treatments provided in a medical office, as well as in-depth knowledge of products which are sold through medical practices. In addition, all interns learn the daily responsibilities of the support staff and are taught high-level customer service skills to better serve their eventual client base. Our internship programs last from several weeks to months,
and demand exceptional commitment from those who are accepted into the program.
We have affiliations arranged with the following institutions:
- Robert Morris College
- Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine
- Midwestern University
- Malcom X College
- Pivot Point International Academy
If you are interested in learning more about internships at our Practice and would like an internship application, please call 312.335.2070 for more information.
Pre-Medical High School and University Students
Some students have always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field; others are just now exploring a possible path to a future in the medical sciences. Students are invited to expand their education by discovering a career in cosmetic medicine. Our practice offers internships for students in affiliated high-schools and universities in the Chicagoland area. During a rotation, intern students will learn about non-surgical and surgical treatments in the field of facial plastic surgery. Students also gain insight
on how to apply for medical schools and what it takes to become a doctor. Finally, students will also learn about the inner workings of a medical office and how the medical practice staff supports the doctor.
We have high school and college prep school affiliations arranged with:
-
Chicago Public Schools
- Evanston Township High School
If you are pursuing a pre-med track at your school and are interested in obtaining an intern position with one of the most respected medical cosmetic practices, please call 312.335.2070 for more information.
If you are actively seeking professional office personnel with cosmetic experience, you might want to ask us for a recommendation - we would be happy to assist with this request.
Dr. Dayan has an opportunity to educate the interns first hand, and he’s also able to evaluate their skills and professionalism. Upon graduation from their educational institution and successful completion of their internship, these students are highly sought after; we have successfully matched many physician assistants, nurses and estheticians with medical practices. In this way, we’re engaging with the community and students to make a difference. If you are interested to know more about professional
placement for your practice, please call 312.335.2070 for more information.
